inlet shore

Pulling influence from Tampa Bay’s endemic flora and fauna, Inlet Shore pulls in the many textures and colors provided by nature. This project anchors the Westshore Redevelopment District as example of function and aesthetic. Almost every detail is custom fabricated, from the steel frame pergola to many precast pieces… even the porcelain pavers were shipped from California due to last of stock in country during Covid. Glass vase was a collaboration with amazing local artist Duncan McClellan who abstracted the fence grass blades, Bismarck palm leaves, and pebbles below, set on a custom integrally up-lit precast shelf. The aesthetic inspiration pulled elements from the surrounding Low country meets Mediterranean architecture, but even more, the combination of coastal native and east India trade route imported tropical plant material set it off.
